4 Directions Brotherhood stepped in to support the Elton Gregory Middle School Band by providing crucial funding for equipment, supplies, travel expenses, and other needs the district does not cover; because the school district does not fund the program, the band depends entirely on fundraising, and 4DB’s contribution helped bridge gaps—replacing worn instruments, supplying sheet music and reeds, covering bus and competition fees, and ensuring every student could participate regardless of family income—strengthening music education and showing our commitment to honoring youth, supporting elders who taught these traditions, and investing in the community’s future.

JUMPING BEAR

Jumping Bear is an independent artist at 4DB Records, proud member of the Osage Nation, and of Southern Indigenous heritage. His music is shaped by his life experiences, Native identity, family values, and the challenges and triumphs that have forged his path.
A devoted husband to his beautiful wife, Sayward, and proud father to his children, David and Lilyana, Jumping Bear draws inspiration from the strength of family, community, resilience, and culture. His music blends raw honesty, personal storytelling, and Indigenous perspectives to create songs that connect with listeners on a deeper level.
Beyond music, Jumping Bear is the Founder of the 4 Directions Brotherhood (4DB), an Indigenous-led organization dedicated to supporting Native communities through service, advocacy, mental health awareness, cultural connection, and community outreach.
